WHILE harvest 2022 would ordinarily be in full swing throughout November, croppers across the state have been impeded by storms and colder temperatures.
These conditions not only delay growth, but cause significant challenges with sodden soil, increased disease and weed control.
The team at Rural Business Support (RBS) are responding to inquiries from farmers struggling with the ‘wet drought’ – a term used to describe the inclement weather and the likelihood of major crop losses.
